Fiduciary Board of Directors

MRA’s Fiduciary Board of Directors supports the long-term health and mission of our school by providing financial oversight and organizational guidance. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, this Board helps ensure that MRA continues to thrive and serve our community with integrity and purpose.

Fiduciary Board of Directors

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, MRA is guided by a Fiduciary Board of Directors that oversees the school’s finances and supports its Mission, Vision, and Values. The Board may also help develop policies, procedures, and regulations that support the overall operation of MRA.

Note: This is not a traditional “School Board.” Curriculum or programming feedback should be directed to MRA’s Education Director or Executive Director.

Board Member Expectations

Board members participate in:

  • Monthly Board meetings (about 2 hours)
  • At least one Board committee or the PTO (time varies)
  • Annual strategy offsite in January (2 days)
  • Quarterly dinners with staff (about 1.5 hours)

They also take part, as able, in community events such as:

  • Back to School Night
  • Trunk or Treat
  • MRA Silent Journey
  • Next Steps
  • FunFest
  • End of the Year Picnic
