Teacher’s Assistant
Montessori Renaissance Academy is seeking a teacher’s assistant who is caring, motivated, and possesses a love of encouraging children to learn and grow. We are looking to hire an afterschool assistant who would be with a mixed age group of 1st-8th graders or children 33 months through Kindergarten.

Montessori Renaissance Academy is a private, nonprofit Montessori school located in the north metropolitan suburb of Anoka, MN. For more than 22 years, we have been providing children from 16 months through 8th grade with an alternative to more traditional schools.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Work closely with the lead teacher to help implement the Montessori curriculum in a safe and nurturing classroom.
• Must be able to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Interact and communicate effectively as a team with colleagues within the classroom and school.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in a Montessori setting is preferred, but is not required
• Some form of continuing education
• Minimum 1 year of childcare experience
